From the Chairperson’s deskلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ‎ EID MUBARAK Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemAs we celebrate the sacred day of Eid ul Adha, we are reminded of the timeless lessons of sacrifice, faith, compassion, and unwavering trust in Allah (SWT).This blessed day is not only a celebration, but also a moment of reflection on our responsibilities towards humanity and towards one another.Today, while Muslims around the world will gather on the plains of Arafah in unity the Ummah remains disunited, resulting in unjust wars and conflicts that continue to cause immense hardship, oppression, displacement, and suffering for many of our brothers and sisters.From conflict zones to refugee camps, from injustice to poverty, the pain of the Ummah weighs heavily upon our hearts.Yet, even in these difficult times, Eid teaches us never to lose hope.The story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Bibi Hajar (AS) serves as a powerful reminder that after every trial come’s relief; and that steadfast faith can overcome even the greatest challenges.As an Ummah, we must remain united, resilient, and committed to the values of mercy, justice, and compassion that Islam teaches us.Let this Eid inspire us to strengthen our support for those in need, uplift our communities, and continue working towards a future built on peace, dignity, and hope.Every act of kindness, every prayer, and every effort to stand for truth carries immense value in the sight of Allah.This year we are commemorating our 110 years built on the ethos of faith and sacrifice.
