Eid ul Fitr Mubarak 1446

From the Chairperson’s deskلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ‎ ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR LA ILAHA ILLALLAH As we welcome the blessed day of EID -ul- Fitr, I extend my heartfelt Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. This day of joy and gratitude marks the end of Ramadan, a month of reflection, sacrifice, and generosity. It is also a reminder of our responsibility to carry forward the spirit of compassion, unity and service beyond these sacred days. AT JHESS, we are deeply grateful to our members, donors, and volunteers whose generosity and, dedication have brought comfort to the orphaned and those less fortunate, reminding us that true success lies in giving. Your kindness is more than charity- it is a beacon of hope, ensuring that those in need are not forgotten. Yet, even as we celebrate, our hearts remain heavy with the suffering of countless innocent lives around the world, especially in Palestine and other conflict -stricken regions. Their suffering is a reminder that our duty to humanity extends beyond our borders; we must be their voice, their support and their hope. Their pain is a stark reminder that true faith calls us to action-to stand for justice, peace and humanity. To those mourning the loss of loved ones, may Allah (SWT) grant you patience and solace. To all the sick and struggling, May He bless you with strength and healing. And to all of us, may this Eid renew our commitment to kindness, resilience and unwavering faith Insha’Allah! May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, forgive our shortcomings and bless us all with health, happiness and barakah. Eid Mubarak!!See our heartfelt appreciation...

Chairperson’s Ramadan Message

From the Chairperson’s desk ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ‎ Ramadan Mubarak 1446 As we enter the sacred month of Ramadan, a time of fasting, reflection, and devotion, we are reminded of the profound values of patience, gratitude, and, above all, generosity. This is a month where we cleanse not only our bodies but our hearts, by giving, by serving, and by standing in solidarity with those who are suffering. While we gather for suhoor and iftar, let us not forget our brothers and sisters in Palestine and across the world who are facing unimaginable hardship. They fast not by choice, but by circumstance. They pray not just for blessings, but for survival. As we seek Allah’s mercy, let us be a source of mercy for others. Ramadan is a time of giving, of sharing our wealth, our time, and our compassion. Whether through charity, advocacy, or simple acts of kindness, let us ensure that our faith is reflected in our actions. Let us give, not just from what we have, but from our hearts, knowing that every act of generosity brings light to those in darkness. Over 109 years, JHESS has stood for service, dignity, and truth. Today, we renew our commitment to justice and humanity. May this Ramadan inspire us to be more charitable, more compassionate, and more courageous in the face of the injustices by the word’s powerful countries. May Allah accept our fasts, our prayers, and our acts of kindness. May He bring relief to the suffering, justice to the oppressed, and strength to those who strive for peace. We count on your continued support for our bursary; food...
