COVID-19 Update 6

Ramadan 2020 is unique in many ways that will remain etched in our memories forever. We have survived and will continue to survive, through our firm belief in our Creator.

The Western Cape continues to be the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic and the virus is now rampant within our community.

Please act responsibly on the day of Eid.

Do not be selective or forget to observe the basic rules of maintaining physical distancing and practicing good hand hygiene.

#Stay@Home.

If you have to leave your home for an emergency, then wear the cloth face mask correctly, covering your nose and mouth; maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5m; wash your hands frequently, for a minimum of 20 seconds or use a 70% alcohol-based hand sanitiser.

Ensure all surfaces and tabletops are cleaned with a detergent at all times.

We all need to help prevent the spread of the virus and save lives.

I wish one and all a Blessed Eid Mubarak!
