Last week I wrote to you to beseech Allah’s mercy on the blessed night of Laylatul Bara’ah during this difficult period all over the world.
In a few days we will welcome the auspicious month of Ramadan 1441, which will be different for all of us as we will be unable to perform our congregational Taraweeh prayers in our Maasajid due to the extended lockdown.
With the grace of the Almighty, the JHESS COVID-19 Humanitarian Fund has been established and we are in main receiving support from our businesses, professionals and ordinary members. We remain thankful to you and pray that you receive Allah’s blessing in this world and in the Hereafter, Ameen.

We have developed a number of Relief Aid packages, inter alia:
Food Parcels
Panel of Doctors offering services to non-COVID-19 indigent persons
At this point in time the doctors on our panel are located in the areas of Athlone, Northern and Southern Suburbs
We have secured a burial service on our panel in order to assist the indigent; and
We are busy establishing a Care call centre to assist the elders in our community.
We appeal to all our members and supporters to furnish your contact details to enable us to update our database. This has become imperative so that we are able to communicate with you via a secured database dissemination program to avoid fake news and misinformation.
