South Africa is rapidly reaching the peak of the pandemic, with almost 10, 000 cases being recorded per day.
We now have to live with the stark reality that we cannot be there to bury our loved ones as many of us are becoming infected or because of the restrictions.
Collectively we need to remain united and look beyond our differences to ensure that we continue to be mindful of our behaviour and actions to defeat and eliminate the COVID-19 virus.
There is emerging evidence that is cause for concern in that we might have underestimated the role of the airborne transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
It is absolutely imperative that we wear our masks at all times.
Continue to be vigilant and adhere to the GOLDEN RULES below:
MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCE IN PUBLIC
WEAR YOUR MASK PROPERLY
MAINTAIN GOOD HAND HYGIENE
DISINFECT WORKING SURFACES REGULARLY AT WORK AND HOME
PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE
STAY VIGILANT
SAVE LIVES
