As from 1 May 2020, Level 4 of the lockdown regulations become applicable and enforceable. We should remain vigilant and abide by these regulations fully. We are encouraging everyone to wear a mask when you leave home and even when you are cooking. The implementation of preventative and protective measures is essential in order to slow the spread of this deadly virus. I am pleased to inform you that we will continue with the relief aid programmes to assist the vulnerable and indigent in need of support during this month of Ramadan and beyond. To this effect, our team is preparing food parcels for distribution to our established Zakaatable recipients. To enable us to conform to the lockdown regulations, in particular by maintaining physical distancing and in compliance with the imposition of the curfew from 20h00 until 05h00 daily, we are compelled to prepare earlier than usual during the month of Ramadan. This will afford us more time to distribute these parcels. Furthermore, we are in the process of sourcing cloth masks for distribution. We shall keep you informed regarding the distribution thereof. In the meantime, we would appreciate it, within reasonable bounds, if you could indicate how many masks you require for your family and shall appreciate it if one family member...
